It is a good location for exploring both sides of the parkThe house is close to main road and train tracks, the trains don't blow the horn because there is no crossing but you can hear them. IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER PLEASE DON'T BOOK. The Great Bear Wilderness is right the back side of the house. Stanton lake hike (in the wilderness)is one of my favorites.
